
There is a wide choice of beaches, from those which are only sandy and perhaps have cedar trees growing along the shoreline to those which have pebbles mixed in with the sand, from calm and windless coves to more exposed beaches where the north wind makes wind- surfing a thrilling pleasure. |

From the other beaches of island we suggest Ayiasos with its calm waters if when the north winds are howling, Azalas, a beach close to Moutsouna which is famous for its pebbles, and Kleidos, one of the prettiest beaches in southeastern Naxos. |
